Wheelchair Access
Ease of access for wheelchair users was a priority during the conversion of the building and limited seating is available in the theatre. We have two entrances the Victorian front door has steps, whilst the side door is fully accessible with electric doors.
Wheelchair users can book their spaces online. If you are a long term/permanent wheelchair user, please contact the box office and we can tag your account so you can book wheelchair spaces and carer seats online.
Wheelchair Spaces are labelled:
Ramp
On entering the Arts Centre, there is a ramp providing easy access to the coffee shop area, the toilet facilities and the ground floor of the auditorium.
Lift
Access to the auditorium balconies, the ballroom and some meeting room facilities are accessible via a lift.
Disabled Toilet
The key for the disabled toilet is available from the Box Office. This toilet also houses baby changing facilities.

To enhance the sound quality for those with hearing difficulties, our theatre has been fitted with an induction loop. Please turn your hearing aid to the ‘T’ position.
