New Perspectives presents this new play from the join winner of the George Devine Most Promising Playwright Award 2016 New Perspectives in association with LOV presents Finding Nana by Jane Upton Directed by Katie Posner "Room 17.
Four walls full of lipstick, laughter, hairspray and Horlicks. Nana is nut brown and wrinkled with chicken fillets for arms. That's what we say. And she treats me like I'm way more amazing than I actually am." Set in a seaside hotel of halcyon childhood summers, this autobiographical play by award-winning writer Jane Upton charts the journey back to find a beloved Nana before she forgot who she was. Following hit plays All the Little Lights, Swimming and Bones, Finding Nana is about the universal, unconditional love between a granddaughter and her Nana and the desperate need to capture memories before they disappear.
A New Perspectives production in association with Lincolnshire One Venues (LOV). With special thanks to Kate Chapman, De Montfort University and The Theatre Writing Partnership.
