Reflections from the Amazon: Human Impact on a Remote Region

Reflections from the Amazon: Human Impact on a Remote Region

For the last two years adventurer Pip Stewart has travelled on expeditions to the Amazon to get a worm's eye view of issues in the region. Through her adventures Pip has seen first-hand the destructive nature of modernity, and why protecting wild places and the rich cultures that exist within them is so important. Perhaps it is the choices we are all making, sometimes unknowingly, that are the biggest danger of all. From building new roads, to buying gold, palm oil or beef, is it time we re-evaluated the choices we make and resulting impact we are having on the world?
