The SKDC arts and culture team are planning to take events out into the community with help from Arts Council England funding in a bid to spread work across the district and investigate new ways of providing the arts in South Kesteven.
The ever-popular Arts Around Town Family Days will be happening this year in a Covid safe way in South Kesteven’s four towns during the May half term, covid restrictions permitting.
There will be plenty of fun activities to enjoy and something for all the family. Through these events SKDC will employ 50 Artists, 5 Creative Producers, provide 50 outdoor or online arts experiences to engage with residents and keep the arts in SK alive!

Corin was born in South London into a raucous Yorkshire-Irish family but did
her growing up in rural Lincolnshire, immersed in the music which has run in her family for generations. She went on to win a place to train at Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts where she has spent much of her first year in lock-down, writing new material. Her music speaks of teenaged angst, romance and redemption - inflected by thewild flatlands of Lincolnshire’s fens. Her first release, Your Dad Still Likes My Instagram, a modern love story of unrequited love across continents is available on Spotify and Apple Music. Corin will be performing for you at all three locations. Don’t miss her stunning voice as she covers some old favourites as well as her own compositions.
