The concert will be a miscellany of music relating to Shakespeare and music of that era. Some of the pieces are words written by William Shakespeare and set to music by a range of composers, some of a similar era and others much more modern. George Shearing set a series of songs and sonnets to music with a very easy jazz feel. We also have a couple of madrigals to offer.
