With millions of albums sales and iconic hits such as We Close Our Eyes, Call Me, King Of Wishful Thinking, Heart and Soul and the classic China in Your Hand, this authentic eighties triple header is not to be missed. GO WEST This year marks the 30th anniversary of Go West had their first hit single “We Close Our Eyes”. Other hits followed including “Call Me”, “Goodbye Girl” and “Don’t Look Down”, “Faithful” and the smash hit theme song in the film Pretty Woman “King of Wishful Thinking”. T’PAU T’Pau’s first single “Heart and Soul” was released in 1987 and initially found success in the US after being featured in a Pepe Jeans commercial, before charting in the UK . Their biggest hit “China in Your Hand” hit the top spot in the UK later that year, and stayed at number 1 for 5 weeks.Soul legends The Christians are renowned their soulful hits …Forgotten Town, Ideal World, Born Again, Harvest for the World, What’s in a Word, Hooverville, Words and many more and enjoyed huge acclaim in the late 80s and early 90s both in the UK and Europe.

This show takes place at the Meres Leisure Centre, Trent Road, Grantham, NG31 7XQ

'Meres Live' events are promoted by the Guildhall Arts Centre, we bring larger events to town at the Meres which is part of a leisure complex situated just outside Grantham town centre and close to the A1.

We have a flexible auditorium, seating from 500 to 1300 depending on the show. We have a bar in the auditorium and costa coffee in the foyer. There is ample free parking.

We can accommodate a diverse range of shows, past sell outs to over 1000 people have been Brian May and Kerry Ellis in concert, Brendan Cole - A Night to Remember, Jason Manford, Jimmy Carr and Ministry of Science.
